Income tax calculator

When you see a salary advertised for a job it is sometimes difficult to know how much you will actually be taking home.  Tax and National Insurance contributions are usually deducted from your pay before it is paid into your bank account and sometimes it can be a nasty shock when you see your first wage slip!

Yesterday I came across this useful tax calculator which works out what your take home pay will be.
