On Wednesday 17th & Thursday 18th June we are holding one of the biggest graduate recruitment fairs in the country.
Times: 10.30am – 4pm each day
Location: Armitage Centre, Fallowfield (the sports centre at Owens Park)

The fair is open to anyone, regardless of year of graduation or university attended. This is the only graduate recruitment fair in Manchester this summer so don’t miss out!
What is on offer:
- Mostly immediate job vacancies but also a sprinkling of temporary and voluntary and postgraduate study opportunities
- A mixture of local and national companies, some small and some large companies
- Some companies will offer opportunities for certain degree subjects and others will be available to any degree subject
And an added extra for the first time this year…
- PhD zone – Wednesday 17th only. A special area for PhDs and researchers. Read my colleague Elizabeth’s post on the postgraduate blog for more details.

Different companies will be attending the fair each day. Make sure that you check out the list of attending companies and the opportunities on offer in advance so that you can plan your visit.
It is a good idea to take an up-to-date CV with you. If your CV needs work look at the information on our website. If you want some feedback on your CV bring it along to the quick query session before Wednesday. These sessions may get busy so it is advisable to ring 0161 275 2829 from 9.30am to choose a timeslot for that day.
UPDATE 17th June – you can also get advice on CVs and applications at the fair. Just bring a printed copy with you and head for the careers advice room.
