Want a career in the media?

Insight into Broadcasting & Journalism, 11th & 12th April 2011

Humanities Bridgeford Street, University of Manchester

This course offers you the chance to spend two days working with media professionals to find out all you need to know about careers in the Media. By listening to the experts and by participating in interactive workshops, we will reveal what careers in this dynamic industry are actually like and, more importantly, the routes to success.  We’ll also invite well known media personalities from across Manchester to share their stories. Furthermore, you will participate in a full day case-study to produce real content for TV, radio or print  – something for your CV.

Previous participants have secured work placements and work experience opportunities through the contacts they have made during the course.

A limited number of places are available.  Full details, including how to apply, are available via: http://www.careers.manchester.ac.uk/students/events/themediaclub/ or http://www.careers.manchester.ac.uk/students/careerslink/
